Go Dundee! What’s next?
You may have attended or heard about the successful event organised in January by Go Dundee! and the Centre for Confidence & Well-Being when 300 people came out on a cold, wet Monday evening to hear Tal Ben-Shahar’s excellent talk about positive psychology. Feedback from the event was very encouraging and many attendees indicated that they would welcome an opportunity for further exploration of these ideas and concepts.
So Go Dundee! and the Centre for Confidence & Well-Being have teamed up again to organise an event on Monday 16th June at 7pm to 9.30pm. At the Apex Hotel, Dundee.
This time Dr Carol Craig, Chief Executive of the Centre for Confidence & Well-Being , will present her views on how positive psychology can be applied in Dundee to support and encourage the continuing renaissance of the city.
And this time we are pleased to also present country rockers ‘The Hazey Janes’ – a local Dundee band who have made it to the big time and who will play an unplugged session for us!
We believe that the event on 16 June will help each of us to develop a clearer idea about how to develop more confident and optimistic people and organisations. The evening will include an opportunity to connect with likeminded people in stimulating, encouraging and thought-provoking conversation.
Please note that a small charge is being made to cover the costs of staging the event. Tickets are available for £5 by telephone from Carol Smith on 01382-424142 or from the Centre for Confidence & Well-Being web site for £5 + £1 P&P.
